# OnyLab

> OnyLab is a software company that builds applications and integrations for independent local stores: restaurants, cafes, bakeries, food trucks, and neighbourhood shops. It is based in France and was founded in 2020 by people who had run local restaurants and shops themselves, and who designed the applications from that experience. Its applications cover three steps of a store's business: being found on search engines, maps, review sites, and AI assistants; taking orders from the counter, the table, the phone, the website, and delivery marketplaces into one queue that feeds the store's existing point of sale; and bringing customers back with email and SMS built from the ordering data. Everything plugs into what the store runs today rather than replacing it. Work usually begins with the one step costing the most, and the other two follow once the first pays for itself.
